Dr Richard Russell
Dr Russell is now a Consultant Physician at Lymington New Forest Hospital and is the Clinical Director of the Hampshire Community Integrated Respiratory Service, responsible for asthma and COPD care in community.
He is also a PI in Experimental Medicine in the Respiratory Medicine Department at Oxford. His research interests are the basic mechanisms of COPD and asthma and how this leads to new therapeutic possibilities.
He is also the founding Editor of the International Journal of COPD.
Dr Le Khac Bao
Dr Le Khac Bao is currently the Vice Head of Department of Lung Diseases of Nhan Dan Gia Dinh hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and he is also serving as the Director of Medical Education Center, University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
His research interests are Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases, Asthma, Pleural Diseases and Tuberculosis, Tobacco dependence and smoking cessation and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
He has published 27 peer reviewed original papers as first or corresponding author.
Assoc. Prof. Andrea Ban
She is a respiratory physician and a lecturer, in the respiratory unit, department of medicine, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, Pusat Perubatan UKM (PPUKM) in Cheras , Malaysia which is a university teaching hospital.
she is the head of Respiratory unit in PPUKM. She is involved in teaching of undergraduate as well as post graduate medical students and is involved in various CME sessions in the hospital She has been involved in various clinical trials since joining PPUKM in 2006 and she is a member of the Malaysian Thoracic Society (MTS).
She was also the chairperson leading the update of the Malaysia Asthma Clinical Practice Guideline 2017 (MOH).
